S. Lee Stevenson Jr. has practiced law for over 29 years. He has represented individuals, small, medium and large businesses is well as large national corporate clients.
He has represented and continues to represent a number of banks and other lenders including: The Allied Bank of Texas, Atascosa Bank, Compass Bank, InterFirst Bank Greenspoint, N.A., Interstate Bank North N.A, National Bank and Trust, N.A. and World Savings Bank, FSB.
He has handled both litigation and transaction matters. He has experience in both state and federal court.
He has handled numerous business transactions and prepared many contracts including leases, confidentiality agreements, purchase agreements, computer licensing, software and hardware agreements for both large and small businesses including national corporate clients.
He has prepared numerous loan documents including master loan agreements, modifications, renewals, extensions, subordinations, releases; and has handled all phases of default including demands, workouts, lawsuits, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and eviction matters, including bankruptcy motions to lift the automatic stay, garnishments, and sequestrations.
Mr. Stevenson is the author of a major Texas legal formbook called Stevenson’s Texas Legal Practice Forms 2d. It is a four volume legal treatise available to attorneys in print from West Publishing and on-line from LoisLaw, a division of Wolters Kluwer Law & Business.
The practice guide covers adoption, attorney agreements, bankruptcy, collections, contracts, corporations, foreclosures, guardianships, limited liability companies, limited and general partnerships, litigation, notes and security agreements, oil and gas, real estate, probate, trusts and wills/estate planning.
He has also authored a number of other legal forms and practice works which are described below.
David L. Ricker has also practiced law for over 29 years. Mr. Ricker’s practice has focused on real estate, title insurance matters, probate, trusts and wills for the past 25 years.
He has been general counsel to title companies and title insurance underwriters. He specializes in real estate and title problems. He has handled numerous property closings, both commercial and residential. He prepares both residential and commercial closing documents for several title companies including but not limited to deeds, notes, deeds of trusts, affidavits, heirship matters, releases and other conveyance documents. He has lectured and trained title company personnel concerning real estate law and title company curative procedures.
He has also practiced a wide range of general practice law in Texas during his legal career including but not limited to contracts, probate matters, trusts, wills and estate planning matters.
